Use of cookies
In addition to the data mentioned above, cookies are stored on your computer when you visit our website. Cookies are small text files which are stored on your hard disk – attributed to the browser you use – and through which the party placing the cookie receives certain information. Cookies cannot execute programmes or transmit a virus to your computer. They are used to make Internet services more user-friendly and effective.

This website uses types of cookies whose extent and functioning are outlined below:

  • Transient cookies (see a.)
  • Persistent cookies (see b.).

a. Transient cookies are automatically deleted when you close your browser. Cookies of this type include in particular session cookies. These store a so-called session ID which serves to connect individual requests of your browser into a session. This means that your computer is recognized when you visit our website again. Session cookies are deleted when you log out or close your browser.

b. Persistent cookies are deleted automatically after a defined period of time, which can be different for each cookie. You can delete the cookies at any time in the safety settings of your browser.

c. You can configure your browser settings according to your preferences and, for example, refuse to accept third-party cookies or any other cookies. “Third-party cookies“ are cookies placed on your computer by third parties rather than by the website you are actually visiting. Please note that by deactivating cookies, you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website.

Data protection regarding Google & Co.

Use of Google AnalyticsThis website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service of Google Inc. (“Google“). Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies“, i.e. text files that are stored on end user devices (PC, notebook, tablet, smartphone, etc.) and serve to analyse data on how the user uses the website. The information on the use of this website, generated by the cookie, is generally sent to and stored on a Google server in the USA. Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, compile reports on website activity for the website operator and provide other services in connection with website activity and Internet usage. Google will also pass such information on to third parties if required by law or if third parties process such data on behalf of Google. Google will in no case relate your IP address to other Google data.

In the event that IP anonymization is activated on this website, the IP address of users will be shortened by Google in advance within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area (EEA). Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. IP anonymization is activated on this website. On behalf of the website operator, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, compile reports on website activity and provide other services to the website operator in connection with website activity and Internet usage.

The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics is not merged with other Google data. You can prevent the storing of cookies on your hard disk by making the appropriate settings in your browser. Please note that if you do this, you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website. In addition, you can prevent Google from collecting and processing the data relating to your use of the website generated by the cookie (incl. your IP address), by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available at the following link:

Use of Google Maps
This website uses the services of Google Maps. This allows us to display interactive maps directly in the website and ensure convenient use of the map function. When this service is used, Google receives the information that you accessed this subpage of our website. The data collected during your visit to the website is also transmitted, even if you have not logged in via a Google account. If you have logged in on Google, your data is directly tied to your account. If you do not wish that the data be tied to your profile on Google, you will need to log out before activating the button, otherwise, Google will store your data as user profile and use such data for advertising and market research purposes and/or to customize its website. This type of evaluation is (even for users not logged in) mainly aimed at providing customized advertising and informing other users of the social network about your activities on our website. According to the General Data Protection Regulation you have, of course, the right to object to the creation of such user profiles. In order to exercise this right, you must contact Google directly.
